LESSONS

MOUNTED LESSONS
Frenchtown Riding Club offers private half-hour and one-hour hunter/jumper and dressage lessons to members aged five and older, at all levels.

One-hour lessons include a half hour of tacking and grooming and a half hour of lesson time.
Our program is designed to focus on the individual needs of each horse and rider, with specialized lesson plans created to help our students reach their goals, while building confidence and maintaining a focus on all aspects of the equestrian sport.
Half-hour private English riding lessons are $60 per lesson. Full-hour lessons are $110. Lessons are also available in packages of ten at a ten percent discount.

ADULT GROUP LESSONS
For our mature riders who are seeking a more social riding experience, Frenchtown Riding Club now offers adult group lessons. Contact us today to join an existing group or add a group of your own.
UNMOUNTED LESSONS
Unmounted lessons, which focus on ground-based education, are an integral part of horsemanship and essential for a well-rounded riding education. Our unmounted curriculum seeks to fill the gaps that will inevitably result when learning from the saddle only. At Frenchtown Riding Club, we are determined to develop skilled, confident, compassionate equestrians who put the horse first. With two feet firmly on the ground, we can ascertain how pressure and release can shape one's relationship with the horse; how the horse is put together and how to balance that anatomy; and so much more.
